Deli on the Quay was established in 2008 with a simple idea: to create a more delicious alternative to everyday takeaway food. Since then, we have become one of Poole’s favourite lunch spots, known for our homemade, locally sourced food, excellent coffee and stunning views across the harbour.
The story of Deli on the Quay began long before our doors opened. Toby and Lesley Chapman met while living in Lebanon and spent six years travelling around the Middle East.
They later worked for a year in a fine food shop in Virginia Beach, USA, where their passion for quality produce and exceptional flavours continued to grow.
When Toby and Lesley returned to the UK, they brought their experience, inspiration and love of great food with them. In 2008, they opened Deli on the Quay, and that same passion remains at the heart of everything we do today.
Our atmosphere is busy yet relaxed, creating a place where quality meets comfort. We are proud to be an upscale delicatessen offering fine food and wine, while keeping our prices very reasonable so that great food can be enjoyed by everyone.
